Ye Weichao (Chinese:叶伟超) (born 18 February 1989) is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League.

Ye started his professional football career in 2007 when he was loaned to Guangdong Sunray Cave from Guangzhou F.C.. He scored his first senior goal in a China League Two match v Ningbo Huaao on 23 June.[1] Ye steadily established himself within the team in the 2008 league season. He scored 11 goals for the club which ensured Guangdong Sunray Cave promote to China League One.
Ye was summoned by Guangzhou Evergrande's first team in December 2009 but eventually did not stay. He was loaned to Guangdong Sunray Cave again in March 2010.[2] Ye scored 14 goals in 20 appearances in the 2010 league season.
Ye returned to Guangzhou in 2011. He made his debut for Guangzhou on 15 May 2011 in a 3–1 home victory against Henan Construction, coming on as a substitute for Renato Cajá in the 67th minute. He scored his first Super League goal in this match.[3]
Ye made his senior international debut against Costa Rica on 26 Match 2011 in a international friendly match. He made a assist in the injury time of the match.
